Baptism Preparation
A team of volunteers instruct parents and /or godparents towards fuller understanding of the sacrament of Baptism.  The session also includes information on the celebration on the rite of Baptism.

Bible Study Group
Parishioners meet weekly to prayerfully study and discuss scripture, thus deepening their understanding of God's Word and enriching their faith.  Meetings held on Thursdays at 7:00 p.m.

Confirmation Program
Preparing for the Sacrament of Confirmation is a two-year process involving regular monthly meetings, faith sharing, retreats, and service projects.  We focus on preparing spiritually to receive the gifts of the Holy Spirit and becoming active members of the faith community.

Confirmation Catechist
Fun-loving, faith-filled adults are needed to help pass on the Catholic Faith to our confirmation candidates.  Meetings are held monthly.  Catechist training is provided.

Marriage Preparation (Pre-Cana)
Teams of volunteers assist couples contemplating marriage to reflect on their commitment to marriage as taught by the church, and to provide guidance in preparing for their new vocation.  The one-day program is held yearly helping couples to prepare for the sacrament of marriage.  The Pre-Cana team seeks married couples to be part of this ministry.

RCIA
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is the process through which adults are fully initiated into the Catholic faith community.  During classes, participants study and discuss scripture and Church teaching, as well as share their faith journey.  The RCIA Team provides education, hospitality, support, and facilitation at gatherings.  Meetings are held Tuesday evenings from 7:00-8:30 p.m., September through Easter.

RCIA (The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) We invite: Any adult who has never been baptized, or those baptized in another faith and now wish to become Catholic. We welcome: Any adult who has been baptized Catholic but never received the sacraments of Eucharist and/or Confirmation. If you are seeking full participation in the sacramental life of our faith, please call Ken & Mary Arbuckle at (973) 696-7918 or Karen Greco at (973) 839-3444, ext. 119. Meetings will begin on Tuesday, October 5th at 7:00 PM in the Parish Center Religious Education Office.

Religious Education Program Catechists
Catechists prepare our children to receive the sacraments and impart God's love by their faith commitment,enthusiasm and knowledge.  Our parish supplies training, curriculum, and an abudance of training resources.  Fall classes are held on Tuesday.  Grades 1-5 meet from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. and grades 6-8 meet from 7 p.m. - 8 p.m. The summer morning program is available in a three week session (end of June through mid July).  Grade 2 is not available in the summer.

Religious Education Outreach Volunteer
Assist in specific monthly outreach programs associated with our Religious Education Program ie., food collection, cards for those serving in our armed forces.  Adults and youth are invited to participate.
