CAR WASH
Our Youth Group will be hosting a Car Wash on Sunday,
September 12th from 8:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. in the church parking
lot near the Rectory. Teens are needed to come and help scrub
some cars. All proceeds will help to benefit those attending
the World Youth Day Conference in Spain. Must RSVP TEXT Laura
at: 201-264-6408. If inclement weather that morning, call
973-839-3444 ext. 113 and listen to outgoing message. (Raindate:
September 19th). 6th through 8th graders welcomed too!

WIFFLEBALL TOURNAMENT
On Friday, September 17, 2010 (raindate: Saturday,
September 18th), our Youth Group will host a Wiffle Ball Tournament
from 5:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. to benefit Steven Domalewski
on the "Field of Dreams".
[In 2006, while pitching in a Wayne PAL baseball game, Steven, then-12
years old, was hit directly in the chest with a line drive triggering
his heart to stop beating long enough to cause much damage to his
brain and body. Since then, Steven continuously progresses as he
faces the daily challenges & costly physical therapy.]
We want to help the Steven! "Whatever you do for one of
the least of my brothers you do for Me". Must enter as a 5 Person
Team to include: Pitcher; Catcher;
Double; Triple; and Home Run
area fielders. (May have up to 2 substitutes per game rotated in.)
Fee: $50 Team entry fee + $10 for each substitute. Team
Rules: Must have teenager Team Captain who is enrolled in high
school AND either already Confirmed at OLC or currently in OLC
Confirmation Preparation Program. Must also include at least 1
female AND 1 adult on each team!! Double Elimination - (Guaranteed
two games!) Trophy goes to winning team! For every additional
$10.00 earned, teams can earn an "extra out" in their 9th inning at

as Greeter, Lector, Eucharistic Minister, or Usher
Teen Greeter: Greet people at the doors of the Church.
or Lector: Do one of the readings during the mass.
or Eucharistic Minister: Help give out Communion.
or Usher: Take up the collection, Help seat people, Hand out bulletins after mass.
