SOUPER BOWL SUNDAY
All teens are invited to hold our SOUPer
Bowl Sunday pots at our church doors on the weekend of
February 4th and February 5th at whatever mass you plan to
attend while people exit mass to collect monetary donations
for the local needy through the Wayne Interfaith Network.
You will receive a half hour of service time for your help.

Please go to the side door or main door right after you receive
communion. Look for a soup pot to either hold by yourself or
hold with other kids!

DODGE BALL MARATHON
The Dodge Ball Marathon will take place from 7:00 p.m. until
10:00 p.m. on
Friday, February 10th (SNOWDATE: 2/4/12) in the school
gym. The maximum hours to be played will be 3 hours with
a 7-minute break per hour. You must collect $20 in
pledges in advance to be eligible to participate. Pledge
forms are available. Checks must be made payable to: Our
Lady of Consolation to benefit: The T.E.C. Retreat -
"Together Encounter Christ." Teens are asked to bring
sneakers, snacks, and beverages for themselves. 6th, 7th,
8th graders welcomed! Pledge Sheets will be emailed!

HELP AT OLC BEEFSTEAK
Teen help is needed for the OLC Beefsteak on
Saturday, February 11th. Please contact: Mrs. Trentacost

"Valentine's for the Voit's"
Johnny (16), Stephen(13), and Christopher(3)
Voit lost both of their parents in a year, and are now being
raised by their Grandfather. In an effort to raise
enough money to pay for at least one month rent for their
home, our Youth Group is selling Hershey Bars, after all
masses, on the weekend of February 11th and 12th, just before
Valentine's Day. Please donate a 6 pack of 1.55 oz.
Hershey Bars (or a Jumbo 5 oz. Hershey Bar) - Milk Chocolate,
Milk Chocolate with Almonds, or Special Dark Chocolate!

ONGOING: Children's Liturgy of the Word
Teens needed to help assist during either the 5:00pm
Saturday Mass or the 10:00am Sunday Mass during Children's
Liturgy of the Word. Assistance is needed when our younger
children are gathered in the prayer room at church for Children's
Liturgy. Your help is needed to aid the facilitator with
the children that participate. Not a weekly obligation.

as Greeter, Lector, Eucharistic Minister, or Usher
Teen Greeter: Greet people at the doors of the Church.
or Lector: Do one of the readings during the mass.
or Eucharistic Minister: Help give out Communion.
or Usher: Take up the collection, Help seat people, Hand out bulletins after mass.

RETREAT TEAM MEMBERS - HOLD THE DATES:
Our Antioch Retreat will be held at Camp Warwick in
Warwick, New York
- On Friday, May 18, 2012 from 7:00 p.m. overnight until
Saturday, May 19, 2012 at 8:30 p.m.
- Our Lady of Consolation's Confirmation Ceremony on
Monday, June 4, 2012 at 7:30 p.m.
